May the joy of christmas brings us a lot of blessings and happiness.

Christmas is in the air right now, but do you guys know the history of christmas?

The history of christmas tree was started at Germany. It was said that the ancient German had a habit to put on trunks (also with the branches and the leaves) in their home to chase away any bad spirit and as a symbol to make spring comes faster. This habit has been applied since a long time ago, even before the bible was brought by the prophet.

Traditionally, christmas tree at Germany was assembled and decorated on December 24th at Christmas Eve, until 12 days after that, January 6th. But some people say that the habit to set up a christmas tree was first applied at America, and was popularized by German Hessian soldier.

Until then, Christmas celebration that identic with christmas tree can’t be separated with the celebration to welcome the birth of Jesus Christ. But christmas tree is just a symbol, and we can’t forget the true meaning of christmas just because we’re too busy to decorate our christmas. tree. And also, don’t let ourself forget to spread the joy of christmas by saying “Merry Christmas” to our beloved ones.
