Celebrating Carolus Day at School

It was at 7 November 2023, we celebrated Carolus Day, HPS, BKSN, and HCPSN. St. Carolus was the patron saint of Tarakanita School. The activity began with a Thanksgiving mass and continued with a drama performance from the Tarakanita theater.

Then, we went back to class and decorated the food. We were only given 10 minutes to decorate the food on the winnowing basket. This was a really fun experience because we worked together to finish decorating the food within 10 minutes. After our food was judged, we ate together with the results of our food. 

After that, we played escape room. We were divided into 3 groups, and each group had to solve the clues given in order to get out of the classroom. The situation was very tense because everyone was trying hard to solve the clues given by the OSIS. 

And for the closing event, we watched the finalists of the Bible speech competition and watched Carol ShowFest, namely dance and band performances from our friends! This was one of the students’ favorite parts because we could sing together, cheer for their friends on stage, and most importantly, we could have fun together! (Nicolle Tanjaya)
