Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) Performance

On December 15th, for our P5 assignment, we were assigned to perform for our parents and upperclassmen. The theme for our performance was ‘Nusantara,’ and each class was assigned a different part of Indonesia. We spent one and a half months working on this project. However, the project had to come to a pause because we had to take our final exams for 8 days. After those 8 days, we continued the project for 2 more weeks. During those 2 weeks, we faced a lot of difficulties, especially everyone who was part of the P5 committee. They had only 2 weeks to decorate a whole hall and help coordinate hundreds of students who wanted to perform. Thankfully, we managed to overcome those difficulties with the help of our teachers.

After two weeks, the long-awaited day came, and we got ready for our performance. The first class that went up to the stage to perform was class X.2, and their amazing performance was about The Golden Island Sumatera. They performed a drama about two friends who pressed a mysterious button and got teleported to Sumatera. During the performance, they also did a fashion show showcasing traditional clothes from Sumatera.

After X.2's amazing performance, X.6 went up to the stage, and they did an amazing job with the drama about a princess from NTT who met the love of her life. They also performed a dance, which they did amazingly. The next class was X.5; they performed a drama and a dance, doing a great job representing NTB. The following class was X.4, and they did an outstanding job representing Javanese culture. They performed a traditional dance that involves wooden horses. The crowd roared with laughter when they went down the stage and ran around the hall. After their performance, they earned a round of applause from our peers and upperclassmen.

After X.4's outstanding performance, X.7's performance began, and it was about the beautiful Papua. X.7 did a drama about discrimination against Papuans. After their drama, one of the students from X.7 sang a beautiful solo song. X-3 was next, and they did a drama and dance about Kalimantan and its unique culture. Last but not least, X.1 went up to the stage. My class did a drama about a legend called ‘nenek pakande,’ followed by a dance.

After many amazing performances, some of us gathered downstairs and bought some treats. Then we all went upstairs to wait for our parents who were in our classes getting our semester reports. After a long day, we all went home, and our break officially began. (Christy, X1)
