Why Don't You Join Saka Bhayangkara (Part 1)
Today is an exciting day for the 10th and 11th graders in our school because we were going to be introduced to and socialized with Saka Bhayangkara.
After all the students were lined up and our bags were placed neatly beside us, we waited for the event to begin.
Our opening MC's Valerie and Keyna were excited to tell us about Saka, and it was even more exciting when they announced that there were going to be two special guests with us that day.
Of course, everyone was curious as to what Saka was. Valerie explained to us that Saka, or Satuan Karya Pramuka, is an organization created to help students focus on their talents or interests. They have several branches, such as health, security, athletics, and more.
Then it was time to introduce the special guests.
The doors were opened, and Mr. Leo and Mr. Razi came in. Mr. Leo is the head of community development in the regional police station of Kelapa Dua, while Mr. Razi is an active member of Saka who has gone through and completed many of their programs and now works as part of the honorary board.
The two explained to us what Saka is and what it is about. Saka teaches us about public order and other life skills such as public speaking, security systems, ways to identify witness reports, and even techniques to observe CCTV footage. (Paramitta Gloria, X.4)
